Pick Analysis. Oct 15. Tennessee Volunteers. 839. Scouting Report. Knoxville, TN. 7. player

Tennessee is another team in the SEC that outperformed expectations. The Volunteers won seven games and had one of the most exciting offenses in the country. Quarterback Hendon Hooker is back in Knoxville and Tennessee should be a preseason top 25 team in 2022.

With that being said, Tennessee is going to be overrated next season. Anyone thinking this team has the talent to compete with the big boys of the SEC is going to be wrong. The defense for Tennessee was terrible last season and probably won’t be much better in 2022. Alabama continues its dominance of a cross-division rival next season.

Final Score: Alabama 48, Tennessee 20 (7-0, 4-0 SEC)

Mississippi State Bulldogs. 8. player. Tuscaloosa, AL. 893. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Oct 22

With Alabama getting three big wins in a row against teams that will probably be ranked, they will have to avoid a letdown against Mississippi State. The Bulldogs can be a pesky team and have overperformed in both years under Mike Leach.

Quarterback Will Rogers is going to be back and Mississippi State should have another solid defense in Starkville. It is not going to matter though, as Alabama should be able to win this game comfortably.

Final Score: Alabama 35, Mississippi State 14 (8-0, 5-0 SEC)
