Oct. 8. 861. 5. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Las Vegas, Nev.. BYU Cougars

In what is sure to be one of the more interesting games of the 2022 season, Notre Dame will have a neutral sight clash with fellow FBS independent BYU in Vegas. Allegiant Stadium has become one of the more thrilling sights to host a football game and this should be quite the scene with two passionate fanbases showing up in Vegas.

The Cougars should be a ranked team heading into 2022 and return a lot of production from last year. The one guy that they will miss will be running back Tyler Allgeier, who was one of the best running backs in the country. This is going to be a close and hard-fought game, but Notre Dame will prevail due to the questions about BYU’s defense, which was really bad in 2021.

Final Score: Notre Dame 31, BYU 27 (4-1)

Oct. 15. Notre Dame, Ind.. 871. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Stanford Cardinal. 6. player

One of Notre Dame’s chief rivals is the Stanford Cardinal and they will meet once again in South Bend for the 2022 season. Stanford had a dreadful year in 2021 and head coach David Shaw is looking to get the program back to the heights of a decade ago.

Last season was a blowout in favor of the Fighting Irish. This year’s matchup could be a letdown spot for Notre Dame, coming off a big game against BYU. Stanford has too many questions to be able to pick them to pull off a big upset on the road. Notre Dame continues their winning streak against its Pac-12 rivals.

Final Score: Notre Dame 42, Stanford 17 (5-1)
