In what is going to be the most anticipated non-conference game of the season, Notre Dame is going to be visiting Columbus. This game is going to have a lot of interesting storylines. Former Ohio State linebacker Marcus Freeman is now the head coach at Notre Dame and is going to be looking to start his first full season off on the right foot.

Both teams are going to be bringing back talent and they both have playoff aspirations. This could be a top-five matchup to start the year and could have playoff implications later on. Expect a tough and hard-fought game, but the Buckeyes come out on top due to the home-field advantage.

Expect Ohio State to go for style points and try to blow out Arkansas State in this spot. This will be a chance for guys like Stroud and Smith-Njigba to put up big numbers and make a Heisman case.
