Former Georgia quarterback JT Daniels has entered the transfer portal again and here are the top landing spots for the former 5-star quarterback.

There was some important news when it comes to the college football quarterback carousel this week as Stetson Bennett announced he would return to Georgia, while former 5-star quarterback and Georiga starter JT Daniels announced he was headed to the transfer portal.

The move makes sense for Daniels who was relegated to the bench after going down with an injury last season and losing his job for good to Bennett, who led the Bulldogs to their first national championship in 40 years.

So it’s safe to say Daniels isn’t going to be the starter for UGA next season and after an up-and-down career, he probably wants to go to a program where he can be the starter next season.

Daniels will be a graduate transfer and it’s being reported that he and Georgia wideout Jermaine Burton will be a package deal. So where could the two top-100 talents wind up? Here are our top five landing spots for JT Daniels in the transfer portal.

5. Cal

The Golden Bears will need to find a replacement for Chase Garbers and while Jack Plummer from Purdue, who California added in the transfer portal is an option, if California could add JT Daniels, it would be game-changing, especially if Burton came too.

You might be wondering how Cal could be in the mix for both? Well, both prospects are from the state of California, so maybe reuniting in their home state would be appealing and after Daniels left USC, it certainly won’t be happening there.

At the very least, because of the in-state connections and the fact that both were recruited by Cal, the Bears have to try. It just makes too much sense although it feels like a long shot.
