Bryant Koback, Running Back: Toledo

Toledo running back, redshirt junior Bryant Koback came to Pasadena after four productive years for MAC powerhouse Toledo. Koback was productive with the Rockets, rushing for over 4,000 yards in his career after transferring from Kentucky.

Koback led all running backs with 58 rushing yards during the game. Koback displayed an all steak, no sizzle running style. Though not explosive, Koback ran with excellent pad level and contact balance. The former Toledo Rocket went down on first contact only once when a defensive lineman came unblocked.

Koback measured in at 5-foot-11 and 208 pounds this week in Pasadena. His running style is reminiscent of Charlie Garner and Terry Allen. Not explosive, but no-nonsense. Koback is not afraid to mix it up between the tackles and is a one-cut and go runner.

If a team is looking for a home run hitter out of the backfield, Koback is not that type of back. Teams that are looking for a versatile runner who falls forward and hits the hole and finds daylight Koback is your guy.

The Ohio native could develop into a solid rotational running back at the next level with his ability to block and catch on passing downs.
