LSU is going to start their season off in New Orleans against Florida State on the primetime Sunday night game. This will be one of the most anticipated games of the weekend and a chance for Kelly to start off his LSU tenure with a win. Florida State found some success late in the season, but the Seminoles still missed out on a bowl game.

A win here would mean a lot to both schools and a chance to jumpstart their season. LSU has the more proven playmakers and Florida State is replacing a lot of defensive talent. With the game being a virtual home game for LSU in New Orleans, the Tigers will open up the season with a win over Florida State.
