Pick Analysis. Sept 17. 893. Scouting Report. Baton Rouge, LA. Mississippi State Bulldogs. 3. player

For the opening game in the SEC, LSU is going to play Mississippi State and head coach Mike Leach. This is going to be an interesting test for the Tigers in Kelly’s first SEC game at LSU and the result of this game could be an indicator of how the rest of the season is going to go for the Tigers. The Bulldogs are going to be a challenge on offense, with talented quarterback Will Rogers back to lead the passing attack.

Mississippi State has been a tough opponent for teams in the SEC West and this is not going to be an easy game for LSU to win. With the game being in Baton Rouge, LSU will get their first SEC win of the year and keep the early season momentum going.

Final Score: LSU 34, Mississippi State 23 (3-0, 1-0 SEC)

4. 863. Pick Analysis. New Mexico Lobos. Scouting Report. Sept 24. Baton Rouge, LA. player

After getting their victory over Mississippi State, LSU gets another breather by welcoming New Mexico to Baton Rouge. The Lobos have been one of the worst teams in the FBS and there is not going to be much of a fight put up by New Mexico. Like the game against Southern, the main thing for LSU in this game is going to be getting out of this game healthy and getting as many guys as many reps as possible. The Tigers will roll.

Final Score: LSU 55, New Mexico 13 (4-0, 1-0)
