Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Oct 1. Auburn, AL. Auburn Tigers. player. 5. 842

As the calendar turns to October, LSU football is going to take its first trip outside of the state of Louisiana and go to Auburn. Auburn is currently a mess of a program at moment, with head coach Bryan Harsin is not guaranteed to be the coach at the start of the season. Auburn has lost 25 players to the transfer portal this offseason, including multi-year starting quarterback Bo Nix. It is going to be a completely different Auburn team in 2022.

With all of the uncertainty with Auburn, it is hard to see them winning many games in 2022. This program seems like it is ready for a complete reset and it is going to be a bumpy year ahead. LSU wins this game by double-digits.

Final Score: LSU 31, Auburn 13 (5-0, 2-0)

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Tennessee Volunteers. player. 839. Oct 8. Baton Rouge, LA. 6

This is going to be the biggest test of the young season for the Tigers. Tennessee is going to come in with a bit of hype in 2022 and that is due to their returning quarterback and the potential of the Volunteers offense. Hendon Hooker was fantastic when he took over in Knoxville and Tennessee had one of the best passing attacks in the SEC. Its defense is going to need to see some improvement, but there is room for Tennessee to win eight or nine games this year.

With the game being in Baton Rouge and the uncertainty of Tennessee’s defense, LSU is going to be in a good position to win this game. It is not going to be a cakewalk by any means, but LSU is going to get a nice win over a Tennessee team that might be ranked at this point in the season.

Final Score: LSU 35, Tennessee 31 (6-0, 3-0)
