Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 842. Sept 17. Auburn, AL. Auburn Tigers. 3. player

For Penn State’s big non-conference game of the 2022 season, Penn State will go down south to take on Auburn. This is going to be a rematch of one of the best games of the 2021 season and hopefully, this game will be just as good. Unfortunately, that will probably not be the case. Auburn is a mess as a program at the moment and is trying to move on from head coach Bryan Harsin. Auburn has lost 25 players to the transfer portal and a poor 2022 season appears imminent.

Road games in the SEC are never easy, but Penn State is going to benefit from Auburn’s dysfunction. The Nittany Lions will go on the road and get a win and probably by double-digits.

Final Score: Penn State 34, Auburn 10 (3-0, 1-0)

Sept 24. University Park, PA. Central Michigan Chippewas . 4. player. 403. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

After getting a big win over Auburn, Penn State will wrap up its non-conference schedule with a visit from Central Michigan. The Chippewas have become MAC contenders ever since Jim McElwain took over and Central Michigan was able to win a bowl game over a solid Washington State team last season.

However, going to Happy Valley and winning against Penn State is going to be too tall of a task. Penn State will win this comfortably and go to the month of October with momentum.

Final Score: Penn State 41, Central Michigan 21 (4-0, 1-0)
