When you’re compared to DeVonta Smith, you have to play immediately and have a major impact and that’s what exactly what Evan Stewart will do in 2022.

The five-star receiver who is ranked the No. 11 overall recruit and second-best wideout in the class is an early enrollee and should be able to have an instant impact on the offense. The Aggies will need some new weapons to step up next season and help out whoever starts under center — Haynes King, Conner Weigman, or Max Johnson.

Stewart has the tools to become a dominant receiver in the SEC and he could be that next Smith who breaks out early and contends for a Heisman Trophy in years two or three.

The 6-0, 175-pound receiver is going to play considerable snaps right away and getting him on campus early is a blessing. He’ll upgrade the receiver position immediately.

Don’t be surprised when Stewart is the next star receiver turned first-round draft pick from the SEC in a few years.
