Arkansas football landed the No. 28 recruiting class in the country for 2022 and Sam Pittman has some incoming guys who could contribute immediately.

A year after landing the No. 25 class in the country and months after finishing the 2021 season with a 9-4 record, Sam Pittman and Arkansas football signed the No. 28 recruiting class.

In that class, there aren’t any early enrollees, but that doesn’t mean there’s no one capable of coming in and competing for playing time immediately.

These three 2022 signees could have the biggest impacts for Arkansas next season.

Myron Cunningham is gone and the Razorbacks will be relatively unproven up front next season with Ty Clary also moving on, so they could afford to add a guy like E’Marion Harris to the playing rotation immediately.

It’s tough for freshmen offensive linemen to crack the rotation early on because it’s a huge adjustment from facing high school defensive linemen to massive college front-sevens.

Arkansas will need a big body to come in and protect KJ Jefferson next season and I think Harris has what it takes. Not only does he have the ideal frame, but he’s also one of the top tackles in the class. He’s 6-7 and 370 pounds and he’s ranked the No. 310 overall recruit and 25th-best tackle in the 2022 class, according to the composite.

If nothing else, I could see Harris coming in to compete for a spot on the two-deep and he’ll be in that regular rotation. He’s too big and too talented not to have an impact.
