The Vanderbilt football program has not been a beautiful sight in recent memory. Will next fall see anything different for the Commodores?

Last season saw the Vanderbilt Commodores as one of the worst teams in the Power Five, as their only wins were nailbiters over Colorado State and UConn. For reference, those two programs saw a combined total of four wins last year.

But while that description surely sounds hideous, not all hope may be lost. Commodores head coach Clark Lea is still wet behind the ears in Nashville, coming back for just his second season at the helm.

As for who all his squad will be facing next fall, their schedule has been released and is public for all eyes to observe. Not only that, but the placement of particular games/bye weeks could always help some in seeing whatever upset alerts may be ahead.

Will the Commodores finally manage to make an impact in college football’s most elite conference, or will 2022 be just another year of disappointment? Let’s find out.

Without further ado, here are the way-too-early schedule predictions for Vanderbilt football in 2022.
