Duke football has consistently failed to hold relevance on the gridiron for the past several years. Will 2022 be any different for the Blue Devils?

The Duke football program just recently made a huge change to their sideline with the firing of veteran head coach David Cutcliffe. But while the change may be big, that doesn’t mean it wasn’t unnecessary.

In recent memory, Duke Football has been a mere shell of what it once was under Cutcliffe, and 2021 saw the Blue Devils finish as the worst team in the ACC (pretty far from their former conference title game-caliber selves).

In fact, Duke has been so underwhelming lately that some would that Cutcliffe’s firing was overdue. However, I think the Blue Devils have been afraid of returning to their quality of play from the seasons before he got there.

Do they have a right to be? Let’s find out.

Here are the game-by-game predictions for the 2022 Duke football season.
