Game 7: vs. North Carolina (L)

While Duke football may be on a downfall, North Carolina is looking to be on the rise. The Tar Heels recently signed head coach Mack Brown to a sizable extension and are currently right behind Clemson in ACC recruiting. Did I mention that UNC has also won the past three meetings?

Game 8: at Miami (L)

Falling in the same category as the UNC game, deciding the winner of Duke’s battle with the Hurricanes should be rather straightforward.

The game will be in Miami, the Hurricanes won seven games in 2021, and they have also won the past two meetings with the Blue Devils. Not only that, but new Miami head coach Mario Cristobal has proven his abilities as head coach before. There’s no silver lining for Duke in this one.

Game 9: at Boston College (L)

Chestnut Hill is rarely a safe place to visit in the world of college football, but especially when you’re not a very good football team. There’s not going to be some iconic battle here; Boston College will win, but not under very impressive circumstances.
