Starting Middle Linebacker: Bo Bauer

Starting Will Linebacker: Jack Kiser

Notre Dame is going to return two starting linebackers to the defense in Jack Kiser and JD Bertrand. Bo Bauer should slide into the starting role at middle linebacker and fill that role well. There are a lot of talented guys at this position for Notre Dame and the future looks.

Notre Dame did a nice job at recruiting this position this past cycle. The whole recruiting class was headlined by five-star recruit Jaylin Sneed, who could find his way on the field this season. Guys like Marist Liufau, Prince Kollie, and Jordan Botehlo all could get on the field this season. This is the most talent that Notre Dame has had at this position in quite some time and it should be a strength on the defense.
