5 college football programs that could become next dynasty
4. Texas A&M Aggies
I’ll be honest, I didn’t think I’d be saying the Aggies could become college football’s next dynasty after a couple of disappointing seasons under Jimbo Fisher, but the 2022 recruiting class changed my mind.
Texas A&M hasn’t won double-digit games since 2012 which is crazy considering how much the school has paid Fisher to be the head coach. He’s one of the highest-paid coaches in America and the money and facilities are actually what helped lure Fisher from Florida State. Texas A&M has plenty of money to help build a successful football program and it feels like it’s about to take off.
Fisher just signed the No. 1 recruiting class in 2022 and not just that, but the Aggies finished with the top-rated class of all time. There’s so much talent coming in that it would be shocking and a massive coaching letdown if the Aggies didn’t make a playoff in the next couple of years.
If you can recruit on the same level — or better than — as Alabama, Ohio State, and Georgia, you definitely deserve to be recognized as a potential budding dynasty.
Time to turn this elite recruiting into on-field success.
