USC football has remade its roster and program with transfers this offseason. What will the Trojan’s depth chart look like in 2022?

USC football is going to be one of the most-watched programs in the country in 2022. Most of the college football world is fascinated about whether new head coach Lincoln Riley can get the Trojans turned around and back in the playoff race.

The schedule is tough but manageable and there are enough talented playmakers that USC could make some noise this season. The question will be how much noise?

It is safe to say that no program or team has undergone more changes than USC. The Trojans have one of the nation’s best coaches and play-callers in Riley, a talented quarterback in Caleb Williams, and enough transfers that will immediately come in and play. The culture is shifting in Los Angeles, but it is fair to wonder how quickly USC is going to get back to the top of college football.

When you see USC’s roster and depth chart for 2022, it is going to look very different than the one they had a year ago. There is a new quarterback in town, new running backs, wide receivers, and a lot of new faces on defense. Riley did the smart thing this offseason and load up on transfers this year and did not bring in lesser high school players with such little time to recruit. Transfers will make the transition years easier on Riley while he tries to pull in top-five recruiting classes.

Here is the way-too-early 2022 depth chart projection for USC.
