By Dante Pryor
2. Arizona State
The possibility of Jayden Daniels returning to Arizona State is a real one. There is some repair that needs to happen if he does decide to return to the Sun Devils. The bad blood that surfaced after teammates found out he was in the portal surfaced on social media:
That said, Daniels is the best option at quarterback for the Sun Devils, and winning has a way of healing hurts and mending wounds. If he and his team conclude Tempe is the best option for him, he’ll be back.
1. Washington Huskies
The Huskies are an intriguing fit for Daniels. All California schools have experienced incumbent quarterbacks, and the Huskies could be the best option for Daniels. New head coach Kalen DeBoer did an outstanding job at Fresno with Jake Haener and could do the same for Daniels.
DeBoer knows offensive football, and his system would allow Daniels to use his skill set as an elite athlete and thrower of the football. DeBoer’s system is very quarterback-friendly, and Daniels would flourish without being in the more conservative philosophy of Herman Edwards.
