NC State football was one of the ACC’s top teams in the nation last year. Will the 2022 college football season see anything different?

NC State football coach Dave Doeren has wasted no time in making the Wolfpack a consistent top-tier team in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Last season — Doeren’s ninth season with the program — saw the Wolfpack wear a record with eight or more wins for the fifth time in his tenure. Not bad for a team belonging to a league that has been owned by its divisional rivals.

But despite all of his success and bowl nominations (seven), the Wolfpack have never managed to get over the hump and make a true run in college football’s postseason; they’ve also never even sniffed a berth in the playoff.

Will this fall see anything different for North Carolina State, or will it be just another year of doing alright? Let’s find out.

Here are the way-too-early game-by-game predictions for the North Carolina State Wolfpack for the 2022 college football season.
