Texas Football: 3 way-too-early breakout candidates for 2022
If you don’t know who Isaiah Neyor is right now, then you will once the season gets underway.
Neyor was one of the most sought-after transfer receivers from Wyoming and that is because of his ability to make big plays. During the 2020 season, Neyor only caught eight passes, but he averaged 31 yards per catch. He had a nice season for the Cowboys in 2021 with 44 catches for over 800 yards and averaged 20 yards per catch.
Texas is making sure to prioritize speed at the receiver position. That was evident with how much Xavier Worthy was being used during his true freshman season. These two are going to form one of the most dangerous receiving duos in the country and help make Texas’ offense one of the best in the country.
