Tight End

Starter: Camren McDonald

Backup: Preston Daniel

Camren McDonald was the leading receiver at the tight end position and he is likely going to be the starter for the season. This is a position that is going to need a talent upgrade at some point, but they will have to work with what they have.

McDonald is athletic and is a solid receiver, but his area of concern is blocking. For as much as Florida State loves to run the ball, that could be a huge problem for the Seminoles. Assumed backup Preston Daniel is the opposite. He is a good blocker but does not offer much in receiving.

This is a position where Florida State football has to hope that maybe someone not on this projected two-deep depth chart will step up. They have some talented young guys, but a lot of inexperience.
