Good non-conference battles usually draw the most eyes so which three opponents should Texas A&M football schedule to do just that?

Jimbo Fisher made waves this offseason, signing the No. 1 recruiting class in college football history. Yes, Fisher is bringing in a better class in 2022 with Texas A&M football than any that Nick Saban has ever pieced together at Alabama — on paper.

Texas A&M wants to be in the national title conversation every year, and signing that top class in 2022 has to help matters. But will it be enough to catch up with Alabama and Georgia?

It seems as if there are a number of teams trending in the right direction in the SEC, so winning the first conference title under Fisher is only getting more difficult. There’s obviously Alabama and Georgia, but then there’s LSU, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Florida, and Tennessee who all seem to be trending in the right direction under newer coaches.

Fisher has won a national title before, so he knows what it takes to get to that level, and maybe that means scheduling some tough non-conference foes that will boost confidence.

The Aggies already have some fun matchups scheduled in the future such as Miami, Notre Dame, Arizona State, and Louisville, but that’s not enough.

Who should Texas A&M football add to the non-conference schedule in the future?
