Spring football is now officially underway for Clemson Football. What could the 2022 depth chart look like for the Tigers?

Clemson Football did not meet its high expectations as a program last season and is hoping for a bounceback. A bounce-back season for Clemson would mean getting back to the ACC Championship and the college football playoff. Those are the expectations for the program and it is expected every season.

The argument could be made that the Tigers are the most interesting team heading into the 2022 season. This is the first offseason that head coach Dabo Swinney has had to make multiple changes to his staff and Clemson is a program that is known for its incredible continuity.

Gone are offensive coordinator Tony Elliott and defensive coordinator Brent Venables and they are being replaced with Brandon Streeter and Wes Goodwin respectively. It is not surprising to see Swinney promote from within to fill those vacancies, but neither coach has been in a position like this at a program of Clemson’s caliber.

Both new coordinators are going to have plenty of talent to work with, however. The biggest question for the team is going to be how to fix the offense. Clemson had one of the ACC’s worst offenses and it prevented them from winning the conference and getting back to the playoff. There is not a unit on offense that does not need to perform better and it will be interesting to follow during the spring.

It should also be noted that the Tigers are bringing back several of their key players back from injury. Injuries hurt Clemson last season and getting these guys back will be huge. Clemson also brought in a solid recruiting class with impact guys ready to play.

Here is the early look at Clemson’s depth chart for 2022.
