Wide Receiver

Starting X Receiver: Kayshon Boutte

Backup: Jaray Jenkins

Starting Z Receiver: Malik Nabers

Backup: Brain Thomas Jr

Starting Slot Receiver: Jack Bech

Backup: Chris Hilton Jr

This is one of the most talented positions on the LSU roster. If they can stay healthy, which has been a problem, then they should have one of the best receiving corps in the SEC.

The main guy to know is, of course, Kayshon Boutte. Boutte is one of the best receivers in college football and if the quarterback play is consistent, could be ready for a monster season. He will need to stay healthy after getting hurt last season, but the talent is there for Boutte to be a future first-round pick.

Malik Nabers is the other projected outside receiver, but his position is not safe. Nabers is the safe pick to be the other starter, but a guy like Jaray Jenkins or Chris Hilton Jr could find a way to beat him out. Jack Bech is a reliable slot receiver for the Tigers and he should see the field plenty this season.

Because of the low roster numbers at receiver, it is not out of the question for LSU to be in the market for a transfer receiver after the spring.
