LSU Football is hoping for a quick turnaround with the new coaching staff this season. What will the 2022 depth chart look like?

Just two seasons ago, LSU Football won the national championship with one of the greatest teams the sport has ever seen. Fast-forward to today and the Tigers have hired a brand new coaching staff and will have to build back up to that level.

LSU made one of the biggest coaching moves in recent history by luring Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly away to Baton Rouge. It is rare for a coach that has had so much success at a historic program like Notre Dame to leave, but Kelly did so knowing that he had a chance to build a national championship-caliber football team.

While Kelly and his staff might get LSU back on top of college football, there might be some growing pains in the first season. The Tigers have had a good amount of players enter the transfer portal and there are questions that need answering on the roster.

To help ease the transition in this first season, the coaching staff had to load up on transfers for the upcoming season. LSU did a nice job of landing some of the best players from the portal and they are going to need them to step up on the field this season. Kelly did not have a lot of time to recruit, but he found a way to land some impact players who may see the field as true freshmen in 2022.

The Tigers might not win the SEC this season, but Kelly is a good enough coach to get them there soon enough.

Here are the way-too-early projections for LSU’s 2022 depth chart.
