Baylor Football: Way-too-Early 2022 Game Predictions
After a Thursday night clash in West Virginia, Baylor will get to play the annual Big 12 bottom feeder in Kansas. The Jayhawks did show some signs of life at the end of the season by beating Texas and playing Oklahoma closer than most expected. However, this team still does not have much talent and it is probably heading for another 2-3 win season.
This will be the easiest game for Baylor since the beginning of the season. Expect the Bears to roll by a wide margin against the Jayhawks.
Final Score: Baylor 48, Kansas 16 (6-1, 4-0)
While Kansas might be the worst team in the Big 12 in 2022, Texas Tech will probably be the second-worst.
The Red Raiders are going through a coaching change after firing Matt Wells midway through last season and now Joey McGuire takes over.
The biggest addition for Texas Tech might have been getting offensive coordinator Zach Kittley to leave Western Kentucky. Kittley is one of the brightest offensive minds in college football and you can expect the Red Raiders to be throwing the football around plenty.
While Texas Tech might be getting back to winning under McGuire, it probably won’t be this season. Expect Baylor to get this win.
Final Score: Baylor 38, Texas Tech 24 (7-1, 5-0)
