Running Back

Starter: Zach Charbonnet
Backup: Keegan Jones

Zach Charbonnet is back for another season as the Bruins’ leading rusher and he could be in for an All-Pac-12 season. After rushing for over 1,100 yards last season, Charbonnet decided to come back to Los Angeles and is going to be the best player on the offense again. The thing that he will need to do better in 2022 is consistency.

Charbonnet started the season off as one of the best running backs in the country but seemed to fade down the stretch. With more consistency this season, he could be one of the best running backs in the country.

The question mark for the Bruins at this position is going to be who fills in the role of the backup.

Brittain Brown rushed for over 600 yards and could always be counted on to provide a boost. Running the ball is what UCLA loves to do on offense and they are going to need someone to step up. The most likely candidate is going to be Keegan Jones, who was on the team but did not make a big impact.
