Texas A&M football finished 2021 with an impressive 8-4 record that was headlined by a win over Alabama. Will 2022 see a rise or a fall for the Aggies?

The 2021 Texas A&M football team was an unpredictable squad to say the absolute least. Finishing with an admirable 8-4 record in college football’s mightiest conference, there was a plethora of ups and downs over the course of the season.

While falling victim to multiple divisional losses, the Aggies were also seen shutting down Auburn, escaping Denver with a win over an old Big 12 foe in Colorado, and, most importantly, stunning the then-top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide in College Station.

Since its 2021 slate has concluded, Texas A&M has also made its fair share of offseason media buzz by securing what is officially the greatest recruiting haul in the history of college football. Especially when participating in the SEC and being located in Texas, that is beyond just some accomplishment.

With that said, everybody knows that the Aggies are talented, but can combine that with their outstanding college football atmosphere and national title-winning head coach Jimbo Fisher be enough to help them make a true run at glory this Fall?

Especially when playing in a league as brutal as the SEC, the schedule that a team has to endure plays a big role in answering such a question — and as for the stretch that currently awaits Texas A&M, out-of-conference play will be no laughing matter, either.

So without further ado, here are the way-too-early 2022 game predictions for the Texas A&M Aggies.
