Some college football coaches just get far too much credit for leading their programs and these are the 10 most overrated ahead of 2022.

Like it or not, college football coaches get most of the credit for wins and a lot of the blame for losses and while that may seem unfair, it’s just the nature of the beast.

When you think about winning programs like Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Ohio State, and Oklahoma, you look at the coaches that have been leading the way. Nick Saban is considered the greatest head coach of all time and he has Alabama contending for national titles every year, Kirby Smart seems to be building a mini dynasty, Dabo Swinney is a winner through and through, Ryan Day has picked up where Urban Meyer left off, and Oklahoma was led for years by Lincoln Riley.

Other coaches who are considered some of the best in the nation are Mike Gundy, Jim Harbaugh, Luke Fickell, Brian Kelly, and a handful of big names from the SEC. Are any of these guys overrated?
