ACC: Florida State Seminoles

This might be a little shocking because the ACC has teams like Wake Forest, Miami, NC State, North Carolina, and Pitt all on the verge of breaking out. Well, Pitt just broke out with an ACC title in 2021, but they are hoping to stick around.

But Florida State has plenty of talent and I’m a believer that Mike Norvell is going to be the guy to turn the program around. After a 5-7 season and yet another missed bowl, I think the Seminoles are only going to get better and now that everyone is counting them out, they’re going to surprise.

Quarterback was an issue last season with McKenzie Milton and Jordan Travis splitting time and the latter is returning, but he’ll be pushed by Tate Rodemaker and blue-chip freshman AJ Duffy. The quarterback room should improve and you never know if there will be another addition after spring ball from the portal.

The offense has some really nice pieces and the defense isn’t losing a ton so this team should be more complete in 2022. Plus, the Seminoles are bringing in the No. 21 recruiting class in the nation along with 10 transfers, most of which will have immediate impacts.

Florida State has been a sleeping giant for too long.
