These are projections of where Notre Dame football’s draft prospects will land in the 2022 NFL Draft.

The Notre Dame football program has seen an uptick in the number of early-round draft picks in the last few years. Offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley and guard Quenton Nelson were both first-round picks; Stanley in 2016 and Nelson in 2018.

There have also been players who have made rosters either late in the draft or as free agents. Wide receiver Equamineous St. Brown and tight end Alize Mack were back-end of the draft players who have carved out careers for themselves. Say what you will about former head coach Brian Kelly; he was right when he said, “our program is working.”

Expect no less than six members of last season’s Fighting Irish roster to get an invite to a camp. The Irish have a top-five prospect in this draft for the first time since Nelson in 2018. Safety Kyle Hamilton could be the first player taken in this draft. Don’t expect him to be around long.

Quarterback Jack Coan is an exciting prospect because there are a limited number of places he can play because of the scheme. Coan is a throwback pocket passer. He’s not very mobile and hangs in the pocket to make the throw.
