Top 5 steals from day two of the 2022 NFL draft
The first three rounds of the 2022 NFL draft are in the books and here are the five biggest steals from Day 2 of the annual selection meeting.
We are essentially at the midway point of the 2022 NFL draft. The first round concluded on Thursday with plenty of fireworks and the action continued in Las Vegas on Friday as we got through pick 105 at the end of the third round.
The first round of the draft always gets the most hype but the 2022 NFL draft had lots of depth and we saw that on Friday. Some quarterbacks finally started to go off the board as well as some guys that dropped from where they were projected such as Nakobe Dean.
Rounds 4-7 will be starting in just a few hours but before the process starts up again, here’s a look at the five biggest steals from day two of the 2022 NFL draft.
And of course, we start with the quarterbacks.
Malik Willis to Titans (3rd round, 86th overall)
A few days ago, people were talking about Malik Willis going into the top 10 of the 2022 NFL draft but the Titans were able to scoop him up in the third round.
It’s an ideal situation for Tennessee. The franchise needs a long-term alternative to Ryan Tannehill or at least someone that can push him and adding Willis, who many had as their top-rated quarterback in this class in the third round was a no-brainer.
The Titans get a potential franchise quarterback without having to give up much draft capital and if they hit, this pick will be a home run. If not, it will be much better than using a first or second.
