According to reports, Jordan Addison has committed to USC football over Texas. This Trojans offense is going to be terrifying.

One of the hottest storylines of the offseason has been the transfer of Jordan Addison from Pitt.

There was a back-and-forth between Pat Narduzzi and Lincoln Riley about potential tampering but the former Panther receiver seemed poised to find a new home.

After winning the Biletnikoff Award and losing his starting quarterback, Kenny Pickett, to the NFL, he decided it was in his best interest to move on. Narduzzi wasn’t too pleased, but he has to accept the decision because it’s become the new norm in college football.

Pitt’s loss, however, is USC’s gain as he chose the Trojans over Texas on Thursday afternoon. Alabama was also in the mix, but he narrowed his list down to two earlier this week.

This isn’t the most shocking development because the trend had been USC since he entered the portal and Riley had been pushing for him for weeks. The Trojans now have one of the most explosive offensive attacks in college football for next season with Caleb Williams, too, joining Riley in Los Angeles.

As previously mentioned, Addison was dubbed the top receiver in the nation last season after catching 100 passes for 1,593 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Expect another special season from the explosive receiver with an even more dynamic quarterback getting him the ball. Pickett was the first quarterback chosen in the 2022 NFL Draft but Williams is going to be a legit Heisman contender this season and he should be the Pac-12’s best.

USC has a loaded receiving corps led by the Biletnikoff winner, an OK line, an elite quarterback, and Travis Dye and Austin Jones transferring in at running back, making for one of the scariest offenses not just in the Pac-12 but the nation.
