UNLV was actually one of the worst teams in college football last season and I don’t see that changing much this year. Marcus Arroyo has had a tough draw, taking over the program in a bad spot and he’s just 2-16 in his first two seasons with the Rebels.

Expect this one to get out of hand early on as Notre Dame finally rolls to a huge win for the first time since Week 3.

Final Score: UNLV 10, Notre Dame 42 (6-1)

The seat is heating up by the day for Dino Babers and this is the type of game he needs to prove he can win if he wants to keep his job at Syracuse. His 10-win season seems like an eternity ago and fans are growing restless with the mediocrity.

The Carrier Dome can be a scary place for visiting teams, but I think the Irish come in here with some serious confidence on a six-game winning streak and take care of business after a rough start to the game. Notre Dame falls behind 10-0 but then goes on a 24-0 run to really put the game away.

Final Score: Notre Dame 34, Syracuse 24 (7-1)
