There are still a few five-star quarterbacks left in the 2023 college football recruiting class and here’s the latest on Arch Manning, Dante Moore, and Jaden Rashada.

As far as timelines go, it’s getting to be crunch time for college football quarterback recruits. Most of the time, quarterbacks tend to be committed by the time the season starts and it seems like that could still be true for Arch Manning, Dante Moore, and Jaden Rashada.

We know when Jaden Rashada will be making his decision. He announced that his commitment will become public on June 18. As far as Arch Manning and Dante Moore, we don’t know much as neither has released a top-five list or anything. Rashada put out a top seven along with his announcement date.

However, Arch Manning has locked in some official visits and those are to Texas, Georgia, and Alabama so we’ll start with the latest trends on Manning and other five-star QBs in 2023.

Is Texas the leader for Arch Manning?

A number of expert predictions have come in for Texas according to On3.com but there aren’t any crystal ball projections. Manning did recently say that he will take official visits to Texas, Georgia, and Alabama.

Ole Miss is tied with Texas for the visit lead at four, but Texas has hosted him more than any other school, especially among those that will get an official visit. It will be interesting to see if any others get an official visit because it feels like the three schools listed above have separated.

Texas is the leader according to the On3 prediction machine but that percentage has dropped to 37 percent when it was nearly 60 percent not long ago. Georgia is also gaining momentum and is now at 28 percent. Bama has dropped to 11 and seems to have its sights set on Eli Holstein.

Right now, the Longhorns are in a good spot but they still have to close, and can they do that before proving they are legit on the field like Georgia and Bama?
