Arkansas football is looking to replicate and build on its success from the 2021 season. How will the Razorbacks fare in 2022?

Sam Pittman’s second season with Arkansas football was incredibly impressive.

Not only did the Razorbacks make a bowl game but they finished .500 in the SEC and had nine wins to finish the season which was unfathomable just a couple of short years ago when the program was in the gutter. Chad Morris had gone two years without a single conference win but Pittman has turned things around expeditiously.

The Razorbacks now head into the 2022 season as a contender in the SEC West and a potential New Year’s Six-bound team.

KJ Jefferson returns at quarterback and is one of the most underrated in the country but he’ll have to develop a new top target with Treylon Burks getting drafted by the Titans a month ago. That’s going to be the biggest question mark on offense while the defense brings in some solid transfers to fill some holes. This roster is the most well-rounded it’s been in years.

Arkansas should be able to at least replicate its success from last season but the schedule is brutal at the end of September and into October.
