Arkansas Football: Post-spring 2022 game-by-game predictions
Gone is Malik Willis, so I don’t see this game being all that competitive. Hugh Freeze will still have his guys ready to go and this won’t be a huge blowout, but Arkansas is going to win this one comfortably behind the arm of KJ Jefferson and a strong run game.
Liberty scores a touchdown late to make the final score look closer than the game actually was.
Final Score: Liberty 17, Arkansas 34 (7-2)
The final two seasons of Ed Orgeron after winning the national title in 2019 were forgettable. LSU just simply was not as dominant as it usually is and the head coach parted ways with the program.
It was weird to see LSU take a step back and Arkansas took full advantage of a down Tigers team, beating them 16-13 in Baton Rouge. I don’t think we’ll see the same mediocre LSU team this year with Brian Kelly at the helm and Jayden Daniels taking over at quarterback.
Arkansas puts up a good fight and this one is close, but LSU gets some revenge.
Final Score: LSU 28, Arkansas 24 (7-3, 3-3)
