College football has its fair share of villains heading into the 2022 season but these five head coaches have to top the list.

It’s been sort of a crazy offseason in college football thus far.

It all started with a flurry of coaching changes such as Lincoln Riley to USC, Brian Kelly to LSU, Dan Lanning to Oregon, Mario Cristobal to Miami, Brent Venables to Oklahoma, and Billy Napier to Florida. There was a lot of movement in the coaching landscape, but there was even more in the transfer portal.

With all of the transfer portal movement, there came some drama from the coaching ranks like the whole Pat Narduzzi vs. Lincoln Riley storyline. Jordan Addison entered the portal suddenly after spring ball and Narduzzi accused Riley of tampering which opened some eyes.

Addison didn’t commit to USC right away, but went through the recruiting process and eventually committed to the Trojans. That didn’t make the tampering accusation look any better for Riley.

Nick Saban also accused Jimbo Fisher of “buying” his team while he gets his players the correct way and then helps them sign huge NIL deals. That caused a huge blowup from Jimbo to the media and all I can say is that these two probably won’t be getting drinks together any time soon.
