The quarterback carousel continues in college football recruiting and Auburn football looks like it has found its signal-caller in the 2023 class.

Auburn football is one of the college football programs in need of some recruiting momentum and it appears as though the Tigers could be getting some soon.

As of now, the Tigers have just two players committed in the 2023 recruiting class, and even though both are ranked in the top 500 overall, it’s been months since Auburn football has landed a commitment and that’s something head coach Bryan Harsin needs to change.

Of course, some of the rumors about his job this spring probably didn’t help recruiting, as it’s not easy to recruit when you don’t have job security, yet it’s not like Harsin doesn’t know how to win. He did that plenty at Boise State but some wondered if he was in over his head with recruiting.

Well, with quarterbacks quickly coming off the board and just six of the top 25 left (according to 247 composite rankings), it was important for Auburn to get their guy and it looks like it will happen with four-star Brock Glenn.

Glenn is out of Memphis and is 6-foot-2, 185 pounds. Among QBs in the 2023 class, according to the 247 sports composite rankings, he’s ranked 20th. He’s a top-10 player in Tennessee and 364th overall. Auburn also has a 94-percent chance according to the On3 prediction machine.

Auburn football is leading but has work to do

While the Tigers are the favorite right now, things got a little dicey on Wednesday as Ohio State offered him a scholarship.

The Buckeyes are also after Baylor QB commitment Austin Novasad but it sounds like the Buckeyes will try to get both players on campus for a visit.

Glenn officially visited TCU in May and then Auburn last weekend and is expected to be at Florida State this upcoming weekend. He has also been to Auburn multiple times unofficially.

But Ohio State is a big name and he’s not committed anywhere right now. It will be interesting to see how it plays out but landing his commitment would be huge for the Tigers.
