2. Notre Dame Fighting Irish

It’s pretty easy to include the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation on this list, but surprisingly, the Irish aren’t the biggest winners so far this month.

Notre Dame is holding on to that No. 1 ranking in the 2023 class but I’m putting them on this list primarily for a 2024 pledge which made some Michigan fans pretty unhappy. Five-star 2024 quarterback CJ Carr from Saline, Mich., committed to Notre Dame over the Wolverines despite his grandpa, Lloyd Carr, being a legendary Michigan coach. That’s a tough legacy loss.

While the 2024 class is off to a heck of a start and it gives Notre Dame its quarterback of the future, the 2023 class landed two solid offensive linemen.

Four-star highly-coveted offensive lineman Elijah Paige committed to Notre Dame on June 10 and just three days earlier, the Irish earned the pledge of three-star interior lineman Joe Otting.

Holding on to the No. 1 spot in 2023 and landing a five-star quarterback for 2024 has earned the Irish the No. 2 spot on this list of winners.
