As a follow-up to the recent article about the transfer portal working in college football, we’ll take a dive into some of the additions for Alabama football.

Alabama needs no introduction in the landscape of college football. Since Nick Saban took over the reins in 2007, the Crimson Tide have been the model of success with six national championships, eight SEC titles, and nine SEC West crowns.

Legend says that if you listen closely, you can hear the howl of “Roll Tide” from any location in the United States. Alabama football has never lacked talent and has long held the unofficial title of having the most NFL-ready roster in the country on the yearly basis. This NFL factory has never been shy about recruiting the best athletes in the country and the transfer portal is a resource that gives them the opportunity to rapidly reshape their roster.

As with many college football programs, attrition has hit the Crimson Tide roster via the NFL draft and transfer portal departures of their own.
