Georgia football has become a dominant force on the recruiting trail and here’s a look at five recruits the Bulldogs have to land in the 2023 class.

Even before Georgia football won the national championship last season, the Bulldogs were recruiting at an extremely high level.

Some college football fans may not realize this, but Georgia football has signed six consecutive top-3 recruiting classes and has been ranked No. 1 multiple times.

It’s no secret how Georgia football built a powerhouse. The Bulldogs get it done on the recruiting trail and so far in 2023, that continues to happen.

Georgia is ranked 10th overall in the 247 sports composite team rankings for 2023, but with nine commitments and a bunch of five-star recruits and other top-100 prospects on the board, the Bulldogs have plenty of time and opportunity to move up (and they will).

As we head into a big summer of recruiting, especially for the Bulldogs in their recruitment of Arch Manning, we break down where Georgia stands with five priority targets, starting with the five-star QB.

5-star QB Arch Manning

The Bulldogs hosted Arch Manning for an official visit this month and all seemed to go really well. He was also by Alabama and will visit Texas officially this weekend.

Alabama is always worrisome on the recruiting trail, especially with quarterbacks, but the Tide already took top-100 QB Eli Holstein and even if they want two, it seems like it will be hard to get Manning and Holstein in the same class.

Obviously, Alabama would take Arch and let Holstein de-commit if he wanted, so that’s still a possibility but the On3 prediction machine makes this a two-horse race between Texas, which is the slight favorite, and Georgia, which is right there.

I’ve said all along I have confidence in Georgia’s ability to sway Arch Manning in the end. Texas provides a great opportunity but there are question marks and Quinn Ewers is there too.

Georgia has solid QB depth but no one that can compete with Arch and if the Bulldogs land him, the future will be brighter than ever.
