5-star CB AJ Harris

Georgia football has been right in the thick of things for five-star cornerback AJ Harris, who is out of Alabama and it’s been a competitive battle. Clemson, Florida, and Georiga have all received crystal ball projections but the latest is for the Bulldogs and from Steve Wiltfong of 247 sports.

Wiltfong’s was the fourth since Wednesday for Harris who is ranked 25th overall in the 2023 recruiting class according to the 247 sports composite rankings. Harris is 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, and is a track athlete. He’s a top-five corner and the Bulldogs are trending which is huge because as we’ve seen over the years, elite talent on the perimeter matters a lot.

5-star EDGE Jaquavious Russaw

To win big in college football, you need a talented quarterback but you also need to be able to harass the opposing QB and one of the best players for doing that in the 2023 recruiting class is five-star EDGE Jaquavious Russaw.

Just like Harris, Russaw is out of Alabama, except the Crimson Tide are in the thick of it for the third-ranked edge rusher and 23rd overall prospect according to the On3 consensus rankings.

Russaw is 6-foot-3, 230 pounds, and will be on an official visit to Georgia this weekend, followed by Auburn next weekend. He’s got three more so it seems like this could go into the fall.

Yet, the Bulldogs already have a 47-percent chance of winning his commitment according to the On3 prediction machine and this weekend could further solidify that lead.
