Jimbo Fisher has one of the most talented rosters in the nation ahead of the 2022 season and here’s why Texas A&M football will make a playoff run.

Jimbo Fisher did some work this offseason, reeling in the No. 1 recruiting class of all time for Texas A&M football while also bringing in Max Johnson to compete for the starting quarterback job.

The Aggies will enter the 2022 season as a top-10 team and many believe they’re the biggest threat to Alabama in the SEC.

Here’s why the Aggies could legitimately make a push for the playoff in 2022.

3. This is the most talented team Jimbo Fisher has had at Texas A&M

When you look up and down the roster, the talent is endless for Texas A&M. The Aggies are bringing in the top recruiting class of all time which was led by nine five-star recruits and all of those guys could have a role in 2022.

On top of those five-stars, the Aggies also had 19 four-stars, adding unbelievable depth to the roster at every position.

The defensive line is going to be unbelievably good thanks to an incredible haul in the 2022 recruiting class (led by Walter Nolen and Shemar Stewart), the linebackers will be solid, and the defensive backfield is loaded with experience as well as talented newcomers. The offensive line returns three starters, the receivers just got a boost this offseason while also returning Ainias Smith, the backfield is loaded, and the quarterback situation is much improved.

This is easily Jimbo Fisher’s most talented team since taking over at Texas A&M.
