Arkansas football is projected to flip a four-star Michigan State cornerback commit after a recent official visit. Huge development for Sam Pittman.

Sam Pitt secured a huge official visit last weekend in the form of four-star cornerback Jaylon Braxton who just committed to Michigan State days earlier.

Arkansas football knew it had to roll out the red carpet for the four-star cornerback from Texas if it wanted to open the door back up for a flip. It looks like the Razorbacks did just that as crystal balls flowed in for Arkansas on Sunday following the trip as Steve Wiltfong and a Michigan State insider both projected flips for Braxton.

Braxton committed to Michigan State following a Baylor visit earlier last week and it was a bit of a surprise because he’s a Texas kid and the Bears looked like early favorites in his recruitment.

Mel Tucker has done a fantastic job at Michigan State, however, and won Braxton over.

It didn’t take long for Pittman to change his mind, though.

Braxton seemed to love what he saw in Fayetteville as Pittman continues to do a heck of a job selling the Arkansas football program to blue-chip recruits. He’s on the verge of flipping the cornerback who could have an early impact in 2023.

Arkansas has the No. 9 recruiting class in the country for 2023 and a flip from Braxton who’s the No. 248 overall recruit and 27th-best cornerback in the class would only move the Razorbacks up.

June recruiting is getting a little wild and a Braxton flip would do wonders for Pittman and that 2023 class.
