1. Key transfer additions

Coaches like Lane Kiffin and Mel Tucker and Sam Pittman have proven over the years that you can rebuild a team quickly through the transfer portal.

Kiffin is going to have to prove that yet again in 2022.

Losing Matt Corral, Jerrion Ealy, Snoop Conner, Henry Parrish Jr., Dontario Drummond, Braylon Sanders, Chance Campbell, and Sam Williams will be tough on this depth chart, but Kiffin went out and added key transfers at each position.

To replace the most important position on the team, Kiffin landed former blue-chip recruit Jaxson Dart from USC to replace Corral at quarterback. He brought with him former four-star tight end Michael Trigg who will be joined by Auburn tight end transfer JJ Pegues. Then you have former five-star running back Zach Evans, talented receivers Jordan Watkins, Malik Heath, Jaylon Robinson, and Jacobi Moore, Mason Brooks on the offensive line, and Khari Coleman, Dashaun Jerkins, Jared Ivey, Troy Brown, Isheem Young, and Ladarius Tennison on defense.

Kiffin went out and reloaded the roster with guys who will compete for starting jobs immediately and some will be instant upgrades.

The Portal King strikes again.
