Louisville football is trending for yet another four-star prospect in the 2023 class. Four-star offensive lineman Madden Sanker could soon commit.

Any time you have a chance to land a recruit that goes by the name Madden, you do it.

At least I’m sure that was Scott Satterfield’s main draw to Madden Sanker, right? OK, so maybe Sanker happens to be one of the best recruits in the entire 2023 class and now Louisville is looking like the team to beat for him.

Sanker took an official visit to Louisville on June 17, a week after his visit to Arkansas, and two weeks removed from his Michigan State official. He also visited Miami on June 23.

But after finishing his official visits, it looks like there’s one clear leader: Louisville.

All six crystal balls on 247Sports, including three from the past couple of days, are favoring Louisville to land Sanker from Douglasville, Ga. He would be the latest top-100 recruit in the 2023 class to commit to the Cardinals which is just an absolutely shocking development. He’s ranked the No. 93 overall prospect in the class, per 247Sports.

And he’s planning to commit on July 11 which only means that Louisville’s chances are even higher with all of this momentum on its side.

I never thought I’d see the day when Louisville football was recruiting at a higher level than Louisville basketball but Satterfield is putting in some serious work.

The Cardinals currently have the No. 14 class in the country for 2023 with four top-200 recruits already committed. Sanker looks to be on the verge of becoming that fifth one and moving Louisville closer to the top 10 nationally.
