Trey Knox came to Arkansas as one of the best receivers in the 2019 class, joining Treylon Burks as one of Chad Morris’ best hauls as head coach.

Knox was the No. 228 overall recruit and 34th-best receiver in the class, but it looks like he’s making the move to tight end. This may have been the best possible move for Knox as he has a huge frame and presents a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses because he runs routes like a receiver and is physical. He’s going to blow right by linebackers.

Hudson Henry looks to be the backup to Knox which is shocking because he was one of the best tight ends in that same 2019 class but Sam Pittman likes the latter to start here, it seems.

The 6-foot-5, 215-pounder had a big freshman season, catching 28 passes for 385 yards and three touchdowns but took a step back in 2020, playing just six games and catching seven passes for 70 yards. In year three, he had 20 catches for 141 yards and a touchdown. It just feels like he’s on the verge of a big year, and he’s fully capable of becoming a superstar at tight end.
