I think 2022 is going to be a tough year for Auburn and the offseason following the 2021 season was a good preview of what to expect. Bryan Harsin had a disastrous offseason which featured an alleged affair and almost led to his termination after just one season as head coach.

Still, there’s not much hope for the Tigers heading into the 2022 season.

Playing in Auburn is tough, however. This isn’t quite one of the Razorbacks’ toughest games, but it’s not a cakewalk either.

If Cincinnati was bringing back Desmond Ridder, I’d have no problem moving the Bearcats up on this list, but Evan Prater has no starting quarterback experience and I think the loss of Sauce Gardner on defense is going to be a crushing one. This team will still be good, but not College Football Playoff good.

Luke Fickell deserves the benefit of the doubt as he’ll probably put together yet another AAC title caliber team.

The fact that this game is No. 7 shows how tough Arkansas’ schedule is.
