Pick Analysis. player. Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks. 7. 2377. Scouting Report. Oct. 22. Knoxville, Tenn.

The Vols finally stop their three-game losing streak with a game against UT-Martin of the FCS.

The Vols should face little resistance from the Skyhawks and will probably have a chance to score the most points of the season against UT-Martin.

Prediction: Tennessee 49, UT-Martin 16 (4-3)

Oct. 29. player. 833. Scouting Report. 8. Pick Analysis. Knoxville, Tenn.. Kentucky Wildcats

Kentucky, a popular pick to be a dark horse to finish second in the SEC East, will clash with the Vols in Knoxville in a game that should decide second place in the division.

The Big Three in Lexington is down to the dynamic duo of QB Will Levis and RB Chris Rodriguez after star WR Wan’Dale Robinson left for the 2021 NFL Draft. Kentucky will still have a formidable offense and a solid defense. The Wildcats return much of their secondary and linebacking corp from last season, which will make things difficult for Hendon Hooker of the Vols’ offense.

However, Kentucky will enter this game coming off a Bye Week. With this being a home game for Tennessee and Kentucky boasting a 5-5 record in the immediate week after a Bye during the past decade, I’m giving the edge to Tennessee.

Prediction: Tennessee 24, Kentucky 21 (5-3)

Georgia Bulldogs. 9. player. 814. Nov. 5. Athens, Ga.. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

This will be the toughest game of the season on the schedule for Tennessee, having to do their best to fend off the reigning, defending national champions in Athens.

Even though the Bulldogs lost a ton of talent to the NFL, they bring back several players who aren’t yet eligible for the draft or chose to return in an attempt to run it back.

QB Stetson Bennett will have familiar targets in wide receivers Adonai Mitchell and Ladd McConkey and tight end Warren McClendon for a little continuity on offense.

Georgia roasted the Vols at home last season 41-17 and Tennessee hasn’t won in Athens since 2016. Expect a similar result this season with a big Georgia victory.

Prediction: Tennessee 14, Georgia 33 (5-4)
